Our freeform water fun pool is an amazing fun-spot not only for our little guests but also everyone visiting our resort. Our modern pool is surrounded by one of the top pool bars in Crete, serving cocktails, drinks and coffee all day long. Taste our signature refreshing drinks while relaxing to our pool cabanas in the adjacent sun terrace. Any day on the pool is a party in Aeolos Beach Resort, with your favorite music playing, fun water activities scheduled for your entertainment and traditional greek snacks that keep coming to the terrace! The pool is also the ideal facility to kids, with mini slides and inflatables that turn the pool into a playground! In the high season period, make sure to book your sunbeds or cabanas in advance for your own convenience.
The beach culture of Malia is of the most developed on the island. With 6km of fine, sandy beaches and access to a gradually deepening sea, it belongs to the area’s most treasured assets. The most frequented and popular beaches are on the central strip of Malia, where also our own Aeolos Beach belongs to. From here the beaches gradually get quieter to its east and west. Soak up the sun and cool off in the clear water of the Aegean Sea at Aeolos Beach, where sun beds and umbrellas can be hired at a small charge (the ones with the tropical yellow colour). Sports enthusiasts can live it up with the wide array of water sports we offer at Aeolos Beach, like jet skiing, parasailing, the speedy ringos and pedalos.
Use the patrolled bathing area; always swim in company, especially in the sea. Avoid swimming for at least two hours after meals or after drinking alcohol, when you’re feeling cold or tired, if you’re feeling unwell or if the red flag is flying.
Diving can be dangerous. Diving into shallow water carries risks, so always check the depth of the water and scan the water for hidden obstacles before you dive.
Avoid snorkelling in rough seas, unless you are an excellent swimmer; if you have a breathing problem, you better leave the snorkelling to others
